Professional Code of Conduct
I am a professional Licensed Esthetician and a Certified Lash Technician with over twenty years' experience and I work from a state licensed esthetic's studio in my home. I keep the health and safety of my clients the highest priority in my practice. I ask that you as my client, respect the professionalism of my business and follow these policies to the best of your abilities. At my sole discretion, I will not apply lash extensions or perform other services I deem unsafe for any client. I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not comply with the following policies.

Cancellations
Your scheduled appointment is a time I have reserved just for you. Please be respectful of this time and allow at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule it. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours are subject to a charge equivalent to 50% of the total service fee. "No shows" will be charge the full amount of all services scheduled. Without exception, new clients must schedule through the online booking page to insure I have all your current information and you will be asked to agree to appropriate intake forms at that time. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

Late Arrivals
If you will be late to your appointment please call or text me to let me know. If time allows you may still be able to enjoy your service in it's entirety, however it is possible that I will have to shorten or reschedule your appointment in order not to run late with my other clients. If I need to reschedule your appointment a late cancellation fee may be incurred. Please do allow for traffic!

Allergic Reactions and Sensitivities
Allergies can develop at any time and from anything in our environment. While uncommon, allergies to cyranoacrylate (the active ingredient in ALL lash extension adhesives) do happen from time to time. More commonly a client will be sensitive to the fumes/vapors from an adhesive or from the tape or eye pads used during the treatment but that will only cause a mild irritation; watery eyes, slight itching or mild eye redness, and will dissipate within a few hours to a few days after the treatment. A true allergic reaction to the adhesive will usually appear within the first 24 hours after an application and may not stop until the extensions have been removed. The eyelids may swell, become red and itchy and sometimes there will even be a crusty discharge from the eye. Don't panic! While it's miserable and must be treated, the likelihood of any lasting effects is very minimal. Ideally, the lashes should be removed as soon as possible and you should see your doctor for treatment options to alleviate the allergy symptoms. Sometimes there is too much swelling and immediate removal of the lashes would cause further discomfort due to the cream remover that is used to soften the adhesive bonds. In these situations it's best to see your doctor first to alleviate the symptoms as much as possible and then remove the extensions so as not to cause further irritation. If you like, I can preform a "patch test" to see if you are already allergic to cyranoacrylate, however since it can develop at any time there is no real way to know when or if it will happen to you. Removal of lash extensions due to allergic reaction is always free! However, I cannot refund the cost of application services if you should become allergic to any of the products used. To be very clear, there are NO REFUNDS on services rendered due to a reaction after treatment.

Children and Friends
It is best to come to your appointment alone, enjoy some quiet time to yourself, and relax! I do use sharp implements and chemicals around your eye area so it is imperative that you are able to remain still which means you must also remain quiet. Talking to a child or friend during a treatment will cause you to wiggle and your eyes to flutter, which is dangerous. However, if your older children or friend are able to sit quietly, I do not mind if you need to bring them to a short waxing appointment, for longer appointments and for very young or busy kids, arrangements should be made for childcare so as not to disturb us while I'm working and you're relaxing.

Pet Allergies
I work from a home based studio. Be advised, I do have cats and dogs at my home (I am also a volunteer foster parent for the Oregon Humane Society) and while they are not allowed in my studio, pet fur may be present on me and in the house. If you are allergic to these pets and still wish to make an appointment, please take precautions. Please do not bring your own animals to your appointment as I cannot supervise them while I am working.

Payment, Returns and Refunds
Payments for services rendered and for products purchased are due immediately upon receipt. I accept payments in cash, via Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, and Zelle as well as credit cards via Square. Tipping, while not required, is always appreciated.
Unopened, unused products purchased from me may be returned within 2 weeks of purchase for a full refund. Opened packages, or partially used products may not be returned.
Refunds are NOT given for services rendered in good faith. If you are unhappy with a service I provided, please let me know immediately so that I may have a chance to rectify the problem if possible. As with all the services I offer, I will do everything I can to give you the lashes and/or brows of your dreams, however I am an esthetician, not a magician, and it's not always possible! I am open to your suggestions if you'd like to change anything going forward so please let me know. Sometimes changes can happen immediately and sometimes over time. In the end, my goal is a happy client!

Social Media and Reviews
I love social media! I encourage you to follow me, to tag me in your photos, and I always appreciate a great review. However, if you are ever unhappy with a service or product that I provided to you I would ask that you let me know immediately so that I have the opportunity to rectify the situation. It is always my goal to provide you with the best services and products and I will always strive to exceed your expectations. I simply ask that if something (anything) doesn't exceed those expectations, you give me the opportunity to make it right before you go public. Thank you!
